The Entrepreneur Zone Committee, jointly established by the CEO Women Conference and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the American University in Cairo (AUC), held its inaugural meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Hala Barakat, Director of the Center.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mona Morad, Co-Founder of the CEO Women Conference and CEO of On Air Group.
The committee also includes in its membership:
- Sarah Ibrahim, Chief Officer: Governance and Corporate Responsibility
- May Asfour, Chief Investment Officer, Al Ahly Capital Holding & Managing Director, Al Ahly Payments
- Reham Fathy Ellaw, Member of the Board of Directors, Nassar Group
- Nermin Girgis, Global Partner Director, Google at Aleph
- Hossam Ezz, CEO, FawryPlus
- Yosra Badr, Co-Founder & CTO, Grinta
- Sherine El Essawi, Program Manager, Women on Boards Observatory
The agenda of the Entrepreneur Zone was discussed during the meeting, including defining the activities, workshops, and participating entities, as well as selecting suitable speakers. Plans also included organizing sessions featuring workshops led by international experts, with travel and accommodation expenses to be covered by the committee.
The Entrepreneur Zone will be organized in parallel with the CEO Women Conference on 20 October 2025 at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza.
